Poise Nigeria with EkoBits ICT Trust Foundation in partnership with Oxfam Novib and Butterfly Works, will be graduating another set of 42 youths from the slum areas of Lagos that just completed a 13 month training.
The 2nd final graduation ceremony which will take place at Poise Training School, will have organisations like Business Plus, Tech Point, Krystal digital, Seamfix, Aspom Travels, Jet Recruitment, Signal Alliance among others, in attendance to interview the graduates for potential job placement and internship opportunities at their organisations.
At its last graduation ceremony, over 20 graduates were offered immediate employment and are currently making good progress in their careers.
The Project Lead, EkoBits & EdoBits, Innih Ikhide stated that the management of Poise Nigeria takes conscious steps to monitor the progress of the last graduates to ensure that they are making significant impact in their place of work and would do the same for graduates that will gain employment through the initiative.
EkoBits, organisers of the programme, is a youth-based organisation and a part of the network of Bits Schools that offers demand aligned training in creative technology targeted at the youth from the less privileged communities.
