Robert Bosch Limited, Nigeria, says it is optimistic about the Nigeria business environment in 2018, and shall continue to build and grow the power tool and accessories market in Nigeria. Country Sales Director for Bosch Power Tools and Accessories, Frank Diemann, made this known at the introduction of its smart screwdriver, Bosch Go, in Lagos.
Diemann who said the company finished strongly in 2017 even though it commenced business in Nigeria in 2014, is optimistic of the Nigeria business enclave and will continue to build its business as well as grow the market across the African continent.
“We are investing a lot of money into communication to get the needed awareness for the new product and products coming on board soon.”
On the newly introduced product, the Country Sales Director, said the product is a perfect tool for screwdriving tasks with a simple push to get all jobs done. According to him, the tool is 4 times more powerful than any existing screwdriver which has an intelligent e-clutch stop, an intuitive operation style.
He went on to explain that Bosch Go is a 0.28kilogram tool that is easy to carry, enabling hassle-free working for a long time. He stated further that the product has a torque setting with 6 levels, 1, for small screws into soft surfaces, 2-4 for standard screws and 5-6 is for big screws into hard surfaces, such as metal, teak wood.
