The Central Bank of Nigeria is offering N90bn soft loan facility for small scale agriculture enterprises.
A statement from the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media & Publicity, Office of the Vice President, Laolu Akande, said Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, disclosed this during a meeting to review the progress on efforts to support MSMEs at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, on Tuesday.
In furtherance of the Federal Government’s drive to support micro, small and medium enterprises, the Bank of Industry has approved a $20m technology fund for young innovators, he stated.
He recalled that the national MSMEs clinics driven by the Vice President had now reached 26 States, with more clinics to emerge in the series.
The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control, he added, was more prepared to register more Nigerians venturing into the food and drug businesses.
All Federal Government agencies playing one role or the other in the MSMEs sector attended the meeting, the statement said.
