Sinoria FABCOM to Open Fibre Board Manufacturing Plant in Abuja

According to the INDEPENDENT, Sinoria FABCOM, a Chinese building materials and structural engineering firm, has announced plans to open a fibre cement board manufacturing factory in Abuja.

The managing director of the Chinese building materials and structural engineering firm, Liuxing Wang, made this known while commending President Muhammadu Buhari for creating the right atmosphere for the industrial growth in the country.

He noted that in a few years from now many companies in China would find it cheaper to set up factories in the country, because of its huge market potentials which, according to him, can also become a point for reaching other African nations.

Sinoria FABCOM which is part of the Chinese global giant, Sinoma, already has an industrial complex in Kuje Abuja where it set up its factory three years ago for the manufacturing of stone coated roofing sheet, Liuxing Wang, hinted some journalists while conducting them round the complex in Kuje Abuja, saying, the new line of products would be the first of its kind in the whole of the West African sub-region.

According to Wang, “Just as Sinoria FABCOM is the first company of its kind in Nigeria and the whole of sub-Saharan Africa, that manufactures stone coated roofing sheets, we will also become the first to commence the production of fibre cement board in this country”.

He further stated that his company’s motivation in diversifying into the manufacture of fibre cement board was as a result of country’s abundant raw materials and the success it has recorded in the production of stone coated roofing sheets and the high demand for the product, in the country.

“Our stone coated roofing sheet has been very successful in the Nigerian market in a short period of time. Our product, are manufactured in this facility here in Kuje, with locally sourced raw materials.

We have been able to set ourselves apart from the rest, our product is today the best in the market as a result of the quality which our customers attest to.

The new line of production of fibre cement board is a follow up to the tradition we have establish for ourselves which is based on quality and customer satisfaction”.

He stressed, “with the partnership we are building with the Nigerian government policies many more Chinese companies in a few years from now will be coming to Nigeria to start manufacturing and serving not just Nigeria but the whole of Africa, government should improve on infrastructure especially electricity so that Nigeria can truly become the manufacturing hub of the continent.

He noted that a few years from now many companies in China will find it cheaper to set up factories in the country because of its huge market potentials which can also become a point for reaching other African Nations.

“Nigeria has all it takes, the raw materials are here in abundance and skilled manpower is on the rise, it is only a question of time and I believe this would be very soon, our company Sinoria FABCOM want to be part of the industrial growth and development of Nigeria and that is why we are reinvesting our profit here rather than taking it back to China”, he added.
